Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using Veedz AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

2. What the service is

Veedz AI is a free, browser-based tool that uses an AI super-resolution model to enlarge images up to 4× and video up to 2×. All processing runs on your device via WebGPU, with a CPU fallback for image upscaling.

There is no account, no upload, and no server-side processing. That is a deliberate design choice and also a practical limit: the service can only do what your own hardware and browser can support.

3. Your content and your rights

You retain all ownership of and rights to everything you put into the tool and everything it produces. We claim no licence over either, and could not exercise one if we wanted to, because your media never reaches us.

You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to any file you process. Do not use Veedz AI on material you have no right to reproduce, modify or distribute.

4. Acceptable use

Use Veedz AI lawfully. In particular, do not use it to process content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy, that depicts the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors, or that is intended to harass, defraud or impersonate.

Do not attempt to interfere with the service, circumvent its limits, redistribute the AI model separately from the site, or use automated means to load the site at a scale that degrades it for other people.

Because processing is local, we generally cannot detect or prevent misuse — which places the responsibility for lawful use squarely with you.

5. Upscaled output is a reconstruction

An AI upscaler predicts detail that is plausible given its training; it does not recover detail that was genuinely recorded. Output may therefore differ from the real subject in ways that are subtle and convincing.

Do not treat upscaled media as evidence, as a forensic record, or as a basis for identification, diagnosis or any other decision that depends on the accuracy of fine detail. You accept this limitation as a condition of using the service.

6. Intellectual property

The Veedz AI name, site design, text and code are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you no right to use our branding. The underlying AI model and open-source components remain subject to their own licences.

7. Copyright complaints

We host no user media, so there is normally nothing for us to take down. If you believe content on the Veedz AI website itself infringes your copyright, write to hello@veedzai.com identifying the work and the material in question, and we will investigate promptly.

8. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that it will work on any particular browser or device, or that results will meet your expectations. Browser and hardware support — particularly for video, which requires WebGPU and WebCodecs — changes outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veedz AI and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Please note that local processing is computationally intensive: it will use significant CPU and GPU capacity, consume battery, and generate heat. Long video jobs in particular are demanding. Run them on hardware you are comfortable loading, and keep your own copy of any original file — we have no copy to restore.

10. Availability and changes

The service is free and provided without any commitment to continued availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

We may also revise these terms. When we do, we will update the effective date above, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
